Why ISGH Matrimonial Services

There are many websites and services available for matrimonial purposes, however they have many shortcomings. On the contrary, ISGH Matrimonial Services will be under the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH), a well-known organization, and we will embed local community and human factors into the services we provide. Here are three main advantages of using ISGH Matrimonial Services:

Community based: We are connecting all communities under ISGH for matrimonial services to bring together large number of candidates residing in this region.
Only serious candidates: Our process is designed in such a way that it will minimize fake accounts and non-serious candidates.
Dedicated team: A whole team of dedicated local representatives is here to help parents and candidates. They can answer various questions to address their needs and concerns.

Here are shortcomings of various matrimonial services available to candidates and parents:

Social Media

This includes WhatsApp, Facebook etc. These have limited privacy. This effort is mostly parent driven. Another challenge of social media is that matchmakers from outside the country may get hold of information and then spread out information in any way they want.

Marriage Bureaus

These are also called matchmakers. In North America, most of these bureaus are individually run. Their drawback is that most of them don’t have a large number of candidates. Another issue is that they are usually ethnically oriented and do not cater to all Muslims.

Organizations

Some Islamic organizations have started matrimonial services. However it’s not a well thought out process. Based upon feedback from friends and families, there is no sifting process to pair suitable candidates.

ISGH Matrimonial is a service offered by the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH). ISGH is one of the largest Islamic organizations in North America.
